drink a glass a water containing the juice of a lime about 20 minutes before eating. The lime juice will activate your digestive juices before you%26#039;ve started eating which will then enhance your metabolic productivity.

I am sorry to hear about your struggles. I know that it is difficult to lose weight when you are in pain. Congrats on being persistant. I would suggest continuing to walk but maybe stop at 4 minutes and slowly build up. If you can only do 4 minutes a day, do 4 minutes a day. You also need to determine if the pain is telling you you absolutely need to stop because it will harm you to continue or if you can just work through the pain and come out the other side and eventually get stronger.Sometimes pain just signals deconditioning and if you are able to work through it the pain will eventually lessen. If the pain is overwhelming you should try and get to a doctor and maybe they can come up with a plan for you. Also if you don%26#039;t have any money most local YMCA%26#039;s have adjusted memberships and you could try to exercise in the water to remove the strain on your back. These places will also help you create a routine to meet your needs. Even if you can%26#039;t walk for very long you can do some seated upper body exercise in addition to your walking.
Exercise is only one part of it and it sounds like you have the basics on how to do the food part. I understand that it is difficult to make the right choices with food if you have depression and that much stress in your life. Eating is a big part of it and if you can reduce the weight it should make exercise easier. The key things are water and reducing refined foods (sugar, white flour) and anything processed. Incorporating lots of fibre, protein and foods that are lower in glycemic index will keep your blood sugar stable and will reduce the cravings associated with emotional eating. You need to eat regularly (every 2-3 hours) but if you are eating the right things the portions do not need to be small.
If you carry alot of your weight around your midsection this type of eating is essential. Stress, combined with a diet high in sugars and processed foods can lead to this excess weight around your midsection. Many people find the fat here almost melts away if they eat the right foods and stay away from sugars etc. YOu can research the Glycemic Index diet and I would also suggest researching Adrenal Fatigue, which happens when your stress levels have been high, as I assume yours have been.
I know it is hard but I commend you for trying. Keep up the good work. I would also suggest seeking help for the depression and the domestic abuse if you haven%26#039;t already. I know that will probably be harder than the rest of it. Good luck to you.

The bottom line is you have to burn more calories than you take in. If you eat more than you are able to burn then you will gain weight. If you are unable to exercise because of your weight it is still possible to lose weight. I would start with ediets.com. They have a resource of the pros and cons of almost anu diet that you can think of. You can lose weight this way until you feel comfortable excersising.

i take health in school, and the only and best way for you to lose weight is to exercise.you can cut out sodas from your diet and that will be very great for you.trust me.drinking water is also good and it may feel Like you are not losing weight but you actually are but you just don%26#039;t see it.calories make you gain weight.u can decrease the amount of calories u take in everyday by reducing the amount of food you eat by 250 calories and by burning of 250 through exercising.so 500 calories burned a day, that is really good because the calories you don%26#039;t burn are stored in your body as fat.1 pound of body fat is equal to 3500 calories and as a teenager or young girl u actually need about 2700 calories per day.and also female hormones also produce fat so the best solution is exercising and even though u cant see it now, trust me, u will c yourself losing weight if u keep exercising.and also walking at a fast Pace is also good.

You should first get yourself in the correct frame of mind. Being motivated and sticking with a program is half the battle. The second half is determination and endurance.
Find a buddy who also wants to loss weight. It becomes easier when you have someone with you.
You named all the things you need to do in your question like drinking lots of water, exercising and eating healthy. It%26#039;s also things like salt intake... when you eat.. cutting down snacking...
eating smaller meals more often.. it%26#039;s hard but I%26#039;m sure you can do it.
Good Luck!
