I updated my html and upload to godaddy via ftp but the webpage still show the same old page? even when i deleted the file on my ftp sever the webpage still exists , stupid godaddy.

In Firefox, you can click on Tools -%26gt; Clear Private Data and select cache.

Hope that helps. when placed on address bar, it executes either of the files above depending upon how it was declared. But by default, either of them. So, see if these 2 files exist and delete them. Then copy your own index.htm or index.html. If your website is:

www.example.com

try typing www.example.com/index.htm
or www.example.com/index.html

Either should work.
Whichever you have and see if it works.

If you type without the html or htm file, example:
If it is running the same old page when you type www.example.com meaning the setting that was assigned possibly www.example.com/another.html

Try to write a message to godaddy and tell them the problem if the problem persists.
