I know all the reasons people think it%26#039;s easy like tv ads and such. I just don%26#039;t understand the psychology behind it. Why are we programmed in this country to want everything RIGHT NOW? Anything worth having is worth fighting for, IMO.* You must be logged into Answers to add comments. Sign in or Register.

I agree with everything you just said and wonder the same things.

They are lazy and don%26#039;t want to put forth any effort to change..

Unfortunately, people are gullible. They see %26quot;doctors%26quot; touting these products on the television and never see the teeny fine print at the bottom that states (this is not a real doctor, he just plays one on TV). In this case, I feel it is time for truth in advertising. Make it a requirement that the fine print is easy to read and scrolls across the bottom.

i think losing weight is really hard it%26#039;s not that easy

it%26#039;s because people are lazy

LOL, if losing weight was that easy, everyone would be thin.

A lot of this has to do with what people hear on tv, the internet, Hollywood, their friends and peers, and so many other things.
Many people really have no clue about weight loss and exercise, that is why it is important for people in our field (Kinesiology) to share our information and teach people how to properly go about losing weight and exercise. Not many Exercise Science people are registered dieticians though so they do not have the right to tell people what to eat, but they can offer general guidelines.
I only hope that people will become more aware about their health overall and how to judge what is true and false. I%26#039;m an Exercise Science Major and Nutrition Minor
