What gave you the big KICK to make you want to lose weight %26amp; what keeps you motivated on your loss journey?
The kicker for me was looking at a recent picture, and also a lack of energy. Also, I would like to have children within the next couple of years, and I don%26#039;t want to pass on this problem. It wouldn%26#039;t be fair to them. I can generally keep up a successful weight loss regimen for about 4 weeks, but then I falter. How do you keep it up?
Best Answer
The kicker is my mirror and my favourite pair of jeans, seeing old school friends who have become fat and neglected their appearance, also I want my kids to be proud of their mum and my husband to continue to be attracted by me! I%26#039;m a determined person and I won%26#039;t give up on something until I%26#039;ve reached my goal. You just have to know what%26#039;s good for you and take it as a challenge.

I take an exercise class and the instructor is my motivation. She used to be much heavier and now she is teaching. Plus, many of the other people in class have lost tons of weight. Just listening to them talk about their weight loss helps me so much!! Good luck honey!!!

Find someone to confide in, to give you strength when you have none. They%26#039;ll be very supportive and they%26#039;ll always be there for you if you need them.

This may sound pretty foolish and I didn%26#039;t do it to lose weight. I was watching the movie Terminator 2 years ago and when i saw Linda Hamilton%26#039;s arms, I was in awe. I just wanted arms like that, so I started weight lifting pretty seriously and to this day, my arms and the rest of me are looking pretty good. But I maintain it and I%26#039;m glad it put me on the road to a healthier me.. Also, my boyfriend works out so I do it for him too, but mostly I know that in years to come, I will be healthier and hopefully avoid the problems that many of the elderly face..
