WEIGHT LOSS - Do you know? I eat very healthy! I exercise often! (not on a regular routine)

I drink plenty of water and no softdrinks. I only grill and bake my foods and I eat lots of Fruits and Veggies.

For three years, no matter what I do, I cannot lose weight. I also have not gained weight.

I walk five days a week, I try to jog three days a week, I do 50-100 sit-ups every day. I weight train sporadically.

Any professionals have any other suggestions!!

I paid a trainer $1300 and I had a gym membership. I did gain weight with thte trainer, but no loss in the areas I was looking for. And my clothes still fit the same.

My BMI is 6 points over what it should be. I work in the Nutrition department on the health department. Justthought maybe there was something else I could do.

  • I%26#039;m not a professional, but it sounds like you are gaining muscle, which is a good thing (muscle weighs more than fat). Look to sources other than the scale to gauge your success- do your clothes fit better? do you not get winded as easily? do you have more energy? 0% 0 Votes
  • Do yoga or pilates. It really helps. 0% 0 Votes
  • um. well, i guess i used to be a professional, i worked for a weight loss company.

you can%26#039;t expect to lose weight doing the same thing you already do. you need to cut calories a little....but not too much!! it sounds like you%26#039;re getting a heck of a lot of activity so i really can%26#039;t say much about that except...weight training and adding muscle can actually make you thinner but weigh more. it may be time to step things up with a routine. maybe you should join a gym for a while and talk with a trainer. they can probably turn you on to some good activity that will help you lose pounds. 0% 0 Votes
  • your body has adapted to your routine. you need to change it up. also, build a bit more muscle. the more muscle you have the higher your metabolism will be. 0% 0 Votes
  • you are already at a balance. you%26#039;ll need to decrease your incoming calories or increase your outgoing ones. 0% 0 Votes
