It depends. On the weight. And on if you%26#039;re seeing them daily.

Here%26#039;s a story.

My cat was 9 pounds. It got sick while I was away for a summer, and dropped to 7. When I came back, I noticed right away and freaked out.

My stepmom was 300 pounds (approx). She lost 50 pounds. NOBODY noticed. She got depressed, gained 80 pounds, everyone noticed the difference then.

And me, I was 126 pounds 2 weeks ago. I%26#039;m 116 now. Even -I- don%26#039;t see a difference. nobody does. It depends on height, weight, if the person viewing the weight loss will be there often, etc. Personal Experience

  • Depends on how tall you are. For someone close to 5 ft, a 5 lb difference will be noticeable, but on a 5%26#039;10%26quot;, ten pounds might not be noticeable. Also, if you are 100 pounds overweight, you might need to lose 30 or 40 pounds to notice a difference, but you will still be overweight.
  • depends on how big they are to start with.
  • Depends on the person. There%26#039;s an inverse relationship working here -- the more the person weighs, the less difference you%26#039;ll see when losing small amounts of weight. For example, a woman who starts at 110 pounds and loses 10 pounds will have a much more noticeable weight loss than, say, a woman starting at 220 pounds and losing 10 pounds. You may not notice weight loss on the heavier woman at all, but you%26#039;ll REALLY notice a difference on the lighter woman.

It also depends on how often you see someone. For example, if your significant other goes on a diet and you see them every day, it%26#039;s possible he/she could lose 20 pounds and you won%26#039;t really notice. On the flipside of that, if you only see someone once every month or so, you%26#039;ll REALLY notice a difference if someone loses 20 pounds.

How much would you have to lose before you notice a difference in your appearance? At least 10 pounds. If you weigh over 200, more like 15 pounds. If you weigh over 250, more like 20 pounds.
  • It depends on your weight and the shape of your body. As you can know ther are different types like pear shape and apple etc.... Anyway there is no relation in loosing weight and change in your size that is my height is 157cm and my weight was 73kg I started a diet 2 months ago and I lost 13kg but the amazing thing was that my clothes size changed quicker than losing weight thats what my dietition told me and it really happened. So it depends on the diet you%26#039;ll follow and you will hopefully see the results sooner than you expect. Take care usually we reach a block our weight no more decreases but you have to continue your diet then you%26#039;ll pass this phase don%26#039;t let it depress you. The difference was clear in the 1st 5kg. Personal Experience.
