I have just begun training in the gym and changing my eating habits. I feel better already, but I really need to change my diet in order to see better results. I have heard that eggs and nuts are good snacks and pack lots of protein, but i hate eggs and nuts (including peanuts). Are there any snack substitutes out there? i try and stay away from a lot of the protein shakes because they contain a lot of sugar or the sugar substitute aspartame (not good for you AT ALL!). I would really like anything that is all natural and, of course, tastes good. I%26#039;m in L.A. so if you could point me to any local stores, that%26#039;d be great. Thanks!

Edamame is a great protein and fiber source. It%26#039;s basically soybeans in the pod. Add some kosher salt to them after cooking. You can buy them fresh or frozen. The frozen are just as healthy as fresh and a whole lot cheaper.
