I know they have lots of calories and fat, but they have almost no net carbs. For low-carb diets, they would seem to be pretty good, with lots of fiber, protein and unsaturated fats.And there are lots of ways you can use them -- by themselves, or combined with other healthful veggies in guacamole or salads.

Avocados are very good I use them regularly in my diet, if you want to lose weight don%26#039;t use a low carb diet, that is just a stupid fad diet that really doesn%26#039;t work, I bet your prob. under eating too. you should be eating clean. which means all healthy food. you should also be taking in plenty of protein, say 1 gram per body pound, also drink plenty of water and get a good multi vitamin and protein shake. finally the weight you lose will also be determined on how you perform in the gym. don%26#039;t count on just cardio. you also need to be doing resistance training ( weights ) the more lean muscle mass you have the higher your metabolism get the faster you burn fat. Good luck and I hope that you do more research and find a better alternative.
