lost 45 lbs in 4 months it will be 2 yrs in Jan to maintain. have changed the whole shape of my body with weight training. was size 14 now size 6. I%26#039;m thrilled because now I can wear a bikini and go wakeboarding and know that I look as good or better than any one else.

I started 18 months ago, eating really well, I%26#039;d already been running for years but didn%26#039;t eat that great. I lost 45 lbs, added weights, and enjoyed where I was at. A few months ago I added cycling and hiking weekly (9 miles or more), kickboxing and doing some serious lifting and the results in inches was amazing, not much weight loss though, so this last week I%26#039;ve started being really religious about eating no sugar and junk and I%26#039;ve lost 8 lbs just this last week and I have about 10 more to go! I love it! I love feeling strong and looking muscular. My goal is a size 8 and I%26#039;m a 10 now!

Well i%26#039;m still on my way. I just started my weight loss plan 3 weeks ago. So far i%26#039;ve lost 10 lbs and it keeps falling off. I%26#039;ve lost so much weight in my face and my love handles are now gone. Pants that used to fit me 3 years ago but were tight a month ago, now fit me again. I still have 10-15 more lbs to lose before I am completely satisfied and it doesn%26#039;t matter how long it takes to get them off.

This is a weightloss story but I have yet to reach my goal. I began Atkins nearly 4 years ago and lost 30 lbs. Along with this thirty lbs, I have also lost my migraines, insulin spikes,itchy skin, painful joints,acid reflux, and a few gray hairs.Recent xrays revealed excellent bone mass. I ran in a 5K race,last year. I completed the race all on a low carb ketogenic diet, at the age of 49.
However,2 years ago, I became anxious to lose that last 10 lbs so I began using chromium, thinking it would help. Well it didn%26#039;t. Actually when I began using the chromium, I began to gain weight and I have always felt that it was connected to my gain. However, at that time, I was 48. I was entering peri-menopause and I developed uterine fibroids. These factors are definite culprits. Regardless of the weight gain, I loved my diet I loved the choices of meat, fruits, vegetables,fats. I love the education I am receiving on the human body by understanding cholesterol and its purpose in the human body. I learned that ketosis is a normal body function just like menstruation, unless you are type 1 diabetic. i even know why it is dangerous to T1 diabetics.I am now learning about fasting...how to do it with regards to health...how to do it to improve weightloss capabilties.
Now, with additional knowledge, I have begun to lose weight again. My body, finally, is responding to exercise. I have stuck to Atkins, easily, for over 4 years. My digestion has improved and knowledge has increased. I hope to share my knowledge to help others to, not only fight obesity, but educate themselves without relying on %26quot;common%26quot; knowledge because common knowledge ain%26#039;t always right.
Dr. Atkins is one of many doctors who have awakened old knowledge about ketogenic diets, their safety and their ability to improve health. With healthy bone mass, exemplary cholesterol levels, balanced glucose levels,healthy teeth ( the hygenist always comments that my plaque is minnimal ). I%26#039;ve been eating healthy and exercising in the morning consistently for seven months. It%26#039;s done wonders for my energy level as well as my body size. I%26#039;ve lost 35 lbs and six inches off my waist. I%26#039;ve learned to eat six smaller meals during the day instead of binging on three huge meals. The biggest thrill for me besides the attention from others is the fact that I have more energy than I had seven months ago and I feel more at ease with whatever life throws at me.

started weight watchers july 23, have lost 10 pounds as of today and I am glad I decided to do it.
Now after the first month, the weight is just falling off.

well i used to be obese untill i went to high school.
i never played any school sports as a kid, but then i played soccer and lost alot of weight. it was actually pretty cool because i was having fun exercising and i was making new friends at the same time. now i love soccer.
i feel actually pretty better about myself i%26#039;m no longer insecure of how i look, so now i don%26#039;t mind it all in school and i can focus better on my grades now. 0% 0 Votes
