for a good 2000 calorie diet, you should eat:
6 oz. of grains (wheat, rice etc. 1 slice of bread is about 1 oz)
eat 2 1/2 cups of vegetables
2 cups of fruits (stay away from fruit juices)
try to drink 1-3 cups of milk a day (drink lots of water also!)
eat only about 6 oz of lean meat or low fat meats, or poultry.
if you keep working out, you will be skinny in no time. if you are going to eat cereal for breakfast, i%26#039;d say eat special k.
