I used to have two great cookbooks for this issue one was hey mom whats for dinner by susan powter and the other one was cooking light with brand names or something like that if you go to the clearance section of books in barnes and noble or borders you might be able to find one of them or online there are alot of good cook books out there but these two had alot of quick easy recipes that did not require intense preparation or mostly gross looking stuff your dog would not even eat it I liked the brand name one the best it takes alot less effort to shop for familiar products you use anyway versus searching for the unfamiliar also you might want to visit whole foods and look at the deli counter, their food bar and the refrigerated section where they stock the prepared single serving meals you can get alot of great ideas from there and just go online and look for the recipe of whatever caught your eye
