the conventional wisdom is that keeping a moderate pace, with your heart rate at 50-70% maximum burns more fat, going higher burns more calories but the are mostly carbs. the weight of the clothing may make you burn more, but i%26#039;d think the excess sweating would only be water weight loss.

It will only result in water loss due to excess sweating...as soon as you drink water, it will come right back. Therefore, it is not effective for long term weight loss and only puts you at risk for dehydration and heat exhaustion.
