Like i know i just cant stop excersising and eating fatty foods. And i still want to remain healthy and eat healthy as well. weight on the scale is only part of the battle. is your body fat % below average? that is far more important in terms of short and long term health. having lower than average levels of body fat prevents metabolic and glucose metabolism disorders and greatly reduces many cancer risks. how much you weight on the scale does actually very little for improving the health if the body composition is still not healthy. it has to be a combination of both. • Ideally you should work out three times/week for at least a half an hour. You should also take stairs, park further away from the store and avoid fast food.

Once you reach your ideal weight you are not at the end of the line unfortunately. Too many people think %26quot;Oh great! I am skinny now. I can eat whatever I want!%26quot; The truth is you will have to work the rest of your life to stay at that ideal weight. It%26#039;s worth it though. It%26#039;s you health I am talking about.

Now that you are lost the weight, try building up you muscles. With better muscles you will burn more calories! Also, you will have more strength.

Good luck to you and congrats on all of your hard work. Do yourself a favor and keep up the hard work.

PS: Don%26#039;t feel totally bad if you put a few pounds back on. Your weight can vary from day to day. Some people don%26#039;t know that and they just give up. :) Don%26#039;t ever give up. 0% 0 Votes
  • Well an alternative to working out is yoga... If you practice the lotus position in yoga for an hour a day you will get progressively skinnier over time until you reach your ideal weight which i believe is much lighter than what the standard books say it is. My cousin is a yoga instructor in china and she has been progressively skinnier these last 4 years... never getting bigger but always smaller.

(Remember that you when you practice the lotus position of yoga you have to cover your knee caps otherwise your muscles will be really sore and you won%26#039;t be able to do it the next time. Expect a lot of pain the first time you do it. My cousin cried when she practiced yoga for 2 minutes, the first time she did it. It%26#039;s normal to feel paralysed for 1/2 the time that you spent sitting in the lotus position)

It%26#039;s even more effective (and easier) than stair climbing.... 0% 0 Votes
  • Its simple.

Everyone needs a certain amount af calories a day. By eating the same mount you burn, you remain at the same weight.

Burn more than you eat, lose weight.

Burn less than you eat, gain weight.

It varies by person. Sedentary people between 110 - 130 pounds usually need around 1500 calories to maintain a weight. The more active you are, the more calories you can intake w/o gain. 0% 0 Votes

  • 2-3 days of moderate acitivity should be fine. As long as your eating healthy most of the time, I think you will be fine. After I lost all the weight I wanted to, I got really busy with school that I wasnt able to exercise. Its been since August and I have not gained a pound. I think its bc I naturally eat healthy like fresh fruits, veggies whole grains etc. So I think as long as your eating healthy and at least walking in the day you will be fine 0% 0 Votes
  • to maintain - workout 2-3 days a week
Eat smart - DO give yourself treats but you will not have to follow your diet as strictly as you were to lose the weight. KNOW what the %26#039;Bad%26#039; foods are and eat them sensibly 0% 0 Votes
