Also, being on birth control continuously until you decide you want to get pregnant will regulate your cycles and hormones and help you to ovulate so when you decide to stop BCP you%26#039;ll be able to get pregnant. If you still have trouble after weight loss with getting pregnant you can try rounds of Clomid which induce ovulation, injectables, or invitro.

I have PCOS, and got pregnant after losing 11lbs on the Atkins diet. From what I have read online, PCOS responds very well to high protein, low carb diets such as the Atkins diet, and the Southbeach diet. GOOD LUCK.

I didn%26#039;t take that, but I did take Metformin for a few months. I lost 40 pounds on my own after I stopped taking it. I think once you %26quot;fix%26quot; your hormones, the rest fall into place. My cousin was cured of her PCOS after her 2nd pregnancy, and my doctor is 100% confident that she can cure mine too the same way, but it%26#039;s not gonna happen any time soon for other reasons.
