I had the lap band done 4-16-08 and I am very happy with the loss. I am down 36 pounds and bunches of inches. I did it for the weight loss and health reasons. So far, I am off insulin for diabetes, (back on oral meds) and my knees and back doesn%26#039;t ache so much and I do water aerobics. It was a win-win situation for me.

My brother-in-law had the Lap-Band done over 5 years ago and is very happy with the results. Talk it over with your doctor.
