Weight Loss Ideas for an Endomorph?
I have recently discovered I am classified as an endomorph. Laa-dee-daa. Great! Here%26#039;s the deal: I am hovering around the 200 lb mark (I have thankfully dropped 30 pounds in the last few months), hike 3 miles twice a week, do the ab machine and tread mill for 20 minutes 2-3 times a week, running and walking, and do some yoga at least once a week. I unfortunately have a desk job, but have cut down on fast food, swapping it for salads and whole grains, don%26#039;t drink pop (only tea) and am battling a cigarette habit. My problem is that my weightloss efforts have stalled over the last month, I haven%26#039;t lost any more weight lately and am sick of working my butt off for nothing. My husband is supportive and there is a history of thyroid issues in my family (but my Dr. says I%26#039;m fine). Is it time to give up and accept my body for what it is? Or does someone have good ideas for amping up calorie burning for endomorphs?
