Question about calorie intake for max benefits of weight loss? I am a 220 lb woman trying to lose weight quickly but sensibly..I know I have a long way to go and I want to do it right so it stays off.Can anyone recommend a good calorie intake for helping me get to 140 lbs.I do walk a mile each way every day to work and back and have been doing about 45 minutes of cardio each day. to vote!

This will help you figure out you BMR. once you figure that out you can calculate how many calories it would take for you to maintain your current weight and then subtract calories from that amount(keep in mind 3,500 calories = 1lb) to figure out how much of a cut you need to make to reach your weightloss goals.
