Does water pills cause rapid weight loss? I am unhappy with my weight and I want to lose at least 50lbs before my high school graduation, which is May 25, 2006. I heard of water pills, but how accurate are they? I really don%26#039;t want to take the easy way out because I did this to myself, but I can%26#039;t afford to go to a gym. What can i do. Does walking really work? IS there more to it.

Thanks for the advice, the problem is my stomach and my love handles, or and the fact that I dont have to much of a booty. How should I focus on those areas. I love my thighs I don%26#039;t want them to go away, they can use I little tighten but not much.. Report Abuse

  • Water pills does not produce rapid weight loss. If you take too much of the pill, it can lower your potassium levels which in turn will make your muscles cramp up a lot. I suggest you go on a strict diet with lots of walking and maybe jogging. I would not use the water pills. This can be dangerous. Please talk with your doctor for anymore information.   • Don%26#039;t use water pills. You don%26#039;t need money to get in shape either. Go running outside, lift make-shift weights at home, do sit-ups, push ups, jumping jacks.... etc. Eat less. 0% 0 Votes

I would suggest that you eat 6 SMALL meals a day every 2-3 hours that has only 150-200 calories per meal like: Breakast Carnation Shakes, Sugar-free Jello, Healthy Choice Soup, crystal light, lots of salad, skinless chicken and fish and energy bars that has 160 caloreies or less. Stay away from starch and sugar. Believe it or not. Limit your intake on fruit as well, because it has alot of sugar and carbohydrates. Start walking for an hour at a quick steady pace, 6 days a week. And, do crunches every night before you go to bed. You will tone up a little before your high school graduation.
