ye sit would but you would lack energy and basically feel lyk crapp!
believe me iv tried this and i nearly ended up with an eating disorder! lol =]
do the 400 cals thing but you need at least 1700-1800 cals to give you energy because dont forget you body burns the cals you eat excercise is like extra in a way .
also shock your metabolism like one day have 2000 cals (recomended daily amount) and the next have lyk 1200 but only for one day a week have that little!
also try to drink green tea i find that helps a lot.
also be aware of the fats in carbohydrates(of which sugars) because although it states on packeging the fats and saturates there are hidded fats in the sugar!
