well let me ask u first why r u goin to Egypt? and i think the family have to check u first cuz mainly they dont know u or they wanna make sure ur not gonna cause them troubles. what sits u apart from others i think if ur customs and traditions strongly stands against theirs. so u may conact them and see how it all goes. and ur gonna gain alot like culutre, new live style, new customs and traditions, getting to know new people with different looks and thoughts and so on .. so have fun
