They%26#039;re important, sure. If the host is lousy, I would quit watching the show. Some hosts are downright rude to their contestants. Other hosts are really boring to watch. I love the humorous hosts though. They improve the quality of the show.

I have the same feeling with judges on shows like America%26#039;s Got Talent, American Inventor, and American Idol.
