My husband%26#039;s work is throwing us a baby shower. Do I still buy a host gift?
There are several people helping to plan this event and I do not know all of them. Is it rude to not give a thank you gift to the hosts?

I%26#039;ve never heard of giving gifts to the person that hosts a baby shower. Thank you cards are the standard. I also went to my husband%26#039;s work with the thank you cards and cookies for everyone to let them know how much I appreciated their support!

i never heard of giving the host a gift but that would be nice
Actually, I%26#039;ve never heard of giving the host of a baby shower a thank you gift.....
The host gets a gift? I thought the shower is for the expected and THEY are the ones recieving the gifts. I don%26#039;t think it would hurt to maybe get the host a small something for their efforts.
A thank-you card yes...a gift...no
It would be good to give one to each. However, don%26#039;t give expensive gifts. Give them $20 worth of pastries to eat/share at work.
I%26#039;m certain you will be sure to thank them at the shower.
Then, after the shower (and after you get to know the people who planned it) send the planners a thank you note and a small gift, if you want. You shouldn%26#039;t bring anything with you to the shower except a smile and good attitude!
Have fun!
Maybe a nice card would be good, or maybe a basket of something delivered to everyone after the shower at work.
i also never heard of giving a thank you gift. if you want i don%26#039;t know what you would get for the company
