It isn%26#039;t. It is written on the same level as Twilight. In fact, it is a very similar plot - Two guys chasing one girl with a very little twist. The ending was goofy and predictable. If this is what Ms. Meyer thinks adults read, she is very much mistaken. Personally I think they just said that because they knew kids would run out to buy what they weren%26#039;t supposed to have. It was junk. Pax-C

- I think because the characters are adults and the themes in it are more geared towards an older audience than in the %26quot;Twilight%26quot; series. I think that%26#039;s why the distinction was made between the two. There are small nuances in the book that some younger readers might not get, depending on their reading level.
