You need a webserver with SQL.
www.wordpress.org. you upload the files and then creat the sql database. It then sets its self up really.Sign in to vote!

URGENT: What do I need to install Wordpress?
OK, My School newspaper wants a .com name and email addresses for a reasonable price based on Wordpress. What do i need to know about to install Wordpress, Do you install to a computer, and use it for my school blog. I was looking at Bluehost.com but have no ideal what anything means or how to set it up. If I sign up for BlueHost do they give me a portal to use or do I still use the Wordpress Desktop. BASICALLY, JUST TELL ME EVERYTHING.
